Tanglewood's Memorial Clock

Given in memory of Emory Wagner, this new four-dial post clock at Tanglewood Manor Golf Club in Quarryville, Pa. sits in a newly created clock plaza. A lasting tribute, the dials are imprinted with his name and favorite expression. The plaza is the perfect setting for award ceremonies, parties and even weddings.

Verdin has helped create many special clock settings. Give Doug Gefvert, your local Verdin Representative, a call to schedule a site visit: 610-265-5211.

It's Tee Time at Cedarbrook

The gift of an anonymous donor, a new four-dial Victorian clock now looks out over the course at Cedarbrook County Club in Blue Bell, PA. The clock is situated between the practice green, first tee, and the golf cart loading area. It can also be seen from the restaurant and dining patio.

What's your tee time?

As part of the 100th Anniversary Celebration, Old York Road Country Club in Spring House, Pennsylvania just installed a four-dial post clock. Centrally located between the club house, pro shop, first tee and the practice green, this clock can also be seen from the dining patio keeping everyone on time. Contributors to the clock will receive a working miniature clock and their name will be placed on a bronze plaque on the post. The clock's Lexan dial covers protect the clock from stray golf balls.

Thinking of a clock for your course? Talk to Doug Gefvert, your local Verdin Representative. A site visit is the first step. Call Doug at 610-265-5211 or email him at dgefvert@verizon.net to schedule a visit. He can even help with fund raising ideas. www.verdin.com

China Bound

Sixteen large two-dial clocks and one large four-dial clock have just been shipped from our Cincinnati factory to the Peoples Republic of China. They will be installed in Jiaozuo City, Henan Province. The lead originally came through our website. Eventually a representative came to the factory for a visit and tour. They checked with other clock companies, but felt Verdin clocks were of the highest quality. The first two characters are the city name followed by the name of the street.

Whether it's a clock for China or some place closer to home, The Verdin Company is ready to serve you. Call Doug Gefvert, your local Verdin Representative at 610-265-5211 or email him at dgefvert@verizon.net for more information or to schedule a site visit. www.verdin.com

On the Road Again - Jersey City

After completing a post clock restoration project in New York City in the first week of January, the Verdin Mobile Restoration Van stopped in Jersey City, NJ to re-paint the header on the Grove Street Howard Replica two-dial clock. Work will continue shortly to upgrade the internal clock controller mechanism with a new digital Master Clock Controller and new protective Lexan dial covers.

A similar Verdin clock located Erie and Newark Streets was damaged by a truck late last year and is soon to be replaced.

The Verdin Mobile Restoration Van travels the country restoring time-worn post clocks. Your clock can be completely repainted, including the gold trim decorations and the header lettering. A digital clock controller can be installed in the post of the clock and new protective Lexan dial covers can replace weathered ones. We can even add music and a hour strike to your clock - all on site - in just two days. Give Jeannie Porter at Verdin Headquarters a call for a price and more information: 800-543-0488. www.verdin.com
