Helping to Choose a Clock that's "Just Right"

Choosing the right clock for your site is sometimes easy and sometimes it is a difficult decision. In the case of Clarks Green, a tiny borough in northeastern Pennsylvania, the decision was easy. They choose the Verdin Howard Replica II, a small scale two-dial classic. Still, a visit by Doug Gefvert, their Verdin Representative, helped the site planners feel comfortable with their choice. Mr. Gefvert photographed the site and the Verdin Art Department created a digital photographic rendering of the proposed clock in the proposed location.

The actual installed clock looks very much like the rendering that Verdin created. In addition to giving the park planners (and Town Council) a good representation of the proposed clock, its size, color, and exact location, the rendering was used by the Clarks Green Clock Committee in their publicity and fund raising effort.

Announcing The Newest Verdin Post Clock

Just created by the Verdin Design Team, "The Independence Post Clock" was inspired by the tower clock at Independence Hall in Philadelphia and replicates the original light blue frosted dials, hands and garland on America's most famous landmark. The post and base are from an original design by Seth Thomas, one of America's best known clock makers.

This stately bronze patina clock, standing almost 15 ft. tall with two 36 in. diameter LED illuminated dials, creates a stunning focal point for parks, historic districts, libraries or retail centers.

Anniversary Clock

Green Valley Country Club in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania is starting their 100th Anniversary Celebration early with a Verdin 4-dial post clock. Their 100th Anniversary isn't until 2019!

 

Panels under each dial remind golfers of the club's founding. This is the small version of this classic American clock. Standing 12-ft., 7-in. tall, its 24-in. diameter dials can easily be seen from all directions including from the club's restaurant.

New Park Clock - Berkeley Heights, N.J.

Getting ready for its Dedication Ceremony

After being installed this Spring, The Verdin Installation Crew quickly covers the new four-dial post clock in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Located in Peppertown Park, the clock is right across the street from the Berkeley Heights Rail Road Station. This clock was funded by local residents and businesses. Major business contributors had their company name and logo placed on the dials, and bronze dedication plaques mounted on the clock's post recognized all donors to the project. A specially created clock committee organized the effort that funded the clock and improvements to the park.
